About Madame Chandelier

Madame Chandelier is a critically acclaimed cabaret character, developed and performed by Canadian opera singer and comedian Delea Shand. She’s appeared on the comedy streaming network, Next Up, for her performance at the Chortle Fast Fringe, at Leicester Square Theatre. She has also performed at Soho Theatre, Phoenix Arts Club, Royal Vauxhall Tavern, Duckie, ACMS, Bill Murray, The Glory, Poodle Club, and more.

She’s performed four solo shows, as the “infectiously bonkers” (Ben Walters, The Scotsman) character, Madame Chandelier: Madame Chandelier Saves Opera, Madame Chandelier’s Opera Party for Kids, Madame Chandelier’s Opera House Party, and Madame Chandelier’s Rough Guide to the Opera.
